A wild and innaccessible landscape that when it is observed by a distance looks like a fairy tale and when is observed closely looks imposing, Tzoumerka is one of the last regions that still have not succumbed to technology and super-growth. Nature lives in her own calm rhythm of season changing and words like awe and admiration do not suffice to describe her majesty. Here the time seems to hover above the ravines of rivers Arachthos and Kalarritikos, the fair traditional villages, the vertical precipices of the canyons and the snowy firs that climb on the rocks up to the naked, Alpine area. The abundant, running waters justify the presence of dense vegetation and innumerable stone taps, that satisfy exceedingly the thirst of the eye and the body.
