CULTURAL EVENTS

• "SKOUFEIKA":  Festive events that last three days, during the last week of July, in honour of Nikolaos Skoufas, Founder of Friendly Company 
• CULTURAL 15 AUGUST:  Two-day cultural events of the Cultural Association Sellades in combination with the feast of Virgin Mary and the procession of Picture of Holy Abbey of Sleeping of Virgin Mary 
• "FOTEINIOTIKA":  Two-day cultural events at the Municipal Province of Foteino from the Association of the everywhere Foteiniotes. 
• Anniversary of the 5 Executed Foteiniotes by the Italian Troops on 3 March 1943

CUSTOMS

•  The "Kompotaiko Carnival"  and the "Traditional Bean soup" on Sunday and Clean Monday of the Carnival. The subjects of the Carnival are coloured by local habits. 
• The "Ai - Yannis",  on 24 June, where the children with facetious disposal jump over big fires.
